This nifty maker allows you to make your yogurt in glass jars (bye bye toxic plastic) with lids, so it can go right in your lunch/breakfast/snack bag. The jars go right into the dishwasher so you can reuse hundreds of times (bye bye waste stream plastic).  And hello to a tiny carbon footprint!  Not only do you reduce that footprint by buying vintage new, you are saying no to mindless amounts of plastic waste.   Annnnnd you get to make flavors that you want and may not be able to buy. Here in the southwest, where I live, it's so much fun to make things with local ingredients like pomegranate, fig, prickly pear, guava, peach, and mulberry. You can control exactly how much, and what kind, of sugar goes in.  You can make it organic, vegan, .... you choose.  (Damn, I just love options!)
