Land Rover Mug, HUE 166, Green Ceramic, Celebrating the First Land Rover

For sale is a light green ceramic mug from Land Rover decorated with the black and white HUE 166 registration. This is the plate found on the first pre-prduction Land Rover, built in 1948; the vehicle was rescued from a field and restored, with the plate, and goes by the nickname Huey. Painted in the same color as the mug, the vehicle is kept at the British Motor Museum. The mug measures approximately 3 1/4" wide across the top, 5" wide including handle, and stands 3 5/8" high with a 8 ounce capacity.
This piece is in very good condition with no damage or utensil marks. It shows light shelf wear on the bottom.
