This old straight keris estimated the dapur Lar Ngatap. I suppose the tangguh is Majapahit (13th - 15th century). The pamor is Adeg Telu. The most important magical strength of pamor Adeg is repelling all kinds of undesirable things like epidemics, fire, storm, floods, wild and toxic animals, manifestations etc. Some krisses are with one special filled, other with several strengths.This dapur has a simple gandik without a kembang kacang. The ganja is Mbatok Mengkureb.
The warangka is branggah Yogyakarta style and made of medium brown akasia wood. The pendok is a pendok Bunton made of golden colored metal. The hilt is made of light brown wood in Yogyakarta style with the typical carvings. The mendak is made of silver colored metal.
The length of the blade is 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) and the total length is 18 1/4 inches (46.6 cm).
