    SOLID BRASS SEWING BIRD HEMMING CLAMP WITH PIN CUSHION. New, well made reproduction of an antique piece. This beautifully detailed functional solid brass hemming clamp, also known as a needlework clamp, features a figural bird with red velvet pin cushion. Handy Victorian style fabric holder securely clamps to your sewing table, allowing for the bird’s beak to act as a convenient third hand, holding the fabric taut while stitching, and when you are ready, releasing the fabric from the beak by depressing the tail. Measures 7” long x 4” wide x 2 ¼” wide wing to wing. Pincushion measures 1 ¾”. Adjustable clamp opening measures 1 3/8” at its fullest Lovely and useful addition to any sewing or crafting room. Please browse our eBay Store for a variety of decorative home and garden accessories.
